Do I need any qualifications?
No, you don't. However, if you have your first aid certificate or security certificate that would be awesome.
What will I be expected to do?
Some of the roles you will be expected to do as volunteers are as follows:
-Helping to set up for opening and again, pack up after closing
-Assisting with setting up and running events if need me
-Help out at the information desk and running the cloak room.
-Help out in the canteen
-And to just be there in case anyone needs help finding something.
You won't be expected to do all this on your own. All volunteers will be rostered around so you can still experience the con.
Will I still be able to see the con?
Yes, of course.
There are usually enough volunteers to cover all spots while you go and enjoy the convention for a while before taking up duties again.
If my friend is also applying, can I work with them?
Yes, if there are enough volunteers to cover all spots, then we can roster you on together no problem.
Can I still cosplay?
Yes, you can. But you will have to display your volunteers badge so people can tell you apart from all the other cos-players.
What time do I show up?
We would like to see you there, bright and early, so about 8:30.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
If anything goes wrong then you can contact Roy, Josie, or Honni. You will be given their contact details on the day.
If I can only make one day, can I still volunteer?
Yes! We would rather have you help on one day, than not at all.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you let us know what events you want to see as early as possible so we
